RTI stands for Response To Intervention. RTI is based on:

1-Improved Teacher Training

2-Proper Screening & Monitoring of Students

3-Excellent Data Reporting, Management and Implementations to student results and issues, both academic and behavioral.


Response To Intervention, provides a multi-tiered approach to achieve and maintain student success, by combining the management of student academic needs, behavioral issues, with continuous teacher training, to address the goal of preparing students for college readiness or real world work situations, at an early age.

What is Title I?

Title I is a federally funded program that provides assistance to schoools to help students who are academically disadvantaged and at risk of being or falling behind their peers.

OUR PURPOSE

 The primary purpose of Hickman Academy Preparatory School, a 501c3 not-for-profit organization founded in 1995, is to be the Preferred Educational Resource for K - 8 education to Milwaukee families under the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program.

 
Our Mission:

Hickman Academy Preparatory School is constantly recognized as a Preferred Educational Resource in the community. By empathetically listening to the needs of our families, students, employees and community and by aligning to outstanding resources, we are able to respond to the stakeholders by designing, developing and implementing measurable educational products, services and an environment that is conducive to allowing our stakeholders to flourish physically, intellectually, socially, emotionally and spiritually.

We focus on current and emerging needs of our students, families, employees and community by providing a reliable responsive environment and innovative programs and services. Hickman's Academy Preparatory School Inc. (HAP) provides educational services for K4 through Grade 8. HAP is one of Milwaukee’s private school's that operate as a “Choice School” under the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program (MPCP). HAP is a not-for-profit corporation that was founded & established by Bennie & Lee Hickman in 1997. It has grown steadily over the years and today has an enrollment of approximately 300 students. HAP renewed its accreditation through AdvancED in 2017.
